Description

These cookies combine a soft, chewy base with rich caramel and luscious chocolate, reminiscent of the beloved candy bar.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers still look soft.
  7. Let the cookies cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  8. After cooling, drizzle caramel sauce over each cookie.
  9. Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle or dip over the caramel-topped cookies.
