Description

Delicious healthy apple cookies made with wholesome ingredients, perfect for guilt-free snacking.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 grated apple
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Optional: nuts or raisins


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, whole wheat flour, baking powder, and cinnamon; stir until blended.
  3. In another bowl, mash the banana and mix in the grated apple and honey or maple syrup.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and stir until just combined; fold in nuts or raisins if using.
  5. Scoop the dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown; cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
