Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups shredded cooked turkey
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup peas and carrots (or preferred vegetables)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup cream or milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté chopped onion and garlic in a large pan until fragrant.
  3. Add shredded turkey and veggies, mixing well. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
  4. In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes with cream or milk until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spread the turkey filling in the pie crust, then spread the mashed potatoes on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and filling is bubbly.
  7. Let cool for a few moments before slicing and serving.

Notes

Consider adding cheese to mashed potatoes for richer flavor and use leftover turkey for convenience.
