Description

A comforting Tuna Noodle Casserole that blends creamy sauce, egg noodles, and canned tuna for a classic dish that’s perfect for family gatherings or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 2 cans (5 oz each) canned tuna, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil a pot of water and cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until they’re al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, canned tuna, cream of mushroom soup, frozen peas, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, and half of the cheese. Stir until everything is well mixed and coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top followed by breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Don’t overcook the noodles as they will continue to cook in the oven. For extra creaminess, add sour cream or Greek yogurt. This dish can be made ahead and stored in the fridge.
