Description

A tender, sweet loaf packed with the rich, nutty flavor of pecans, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the eggs, milk, and oil. Whisk until well blended.
  4. Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for a bit before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Don’t overmix for a fluffy bread. You can substitute the all-purpose flour for a gluten-free blend or whole wheat flour.
