- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the eggs, milk, and oil. Whisk until well blended.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently.
- Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for a bit before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Don’t overmix for a fluffy bread. You can substitute the all-purpose flour for a gluten-free blend or whole wheat flour.
