Description

Rich, fudgy chocolate squares perfect for game day gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs (or flax eggs for vegan)
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips (dark or milk)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and let it cool slightly.
  3. Mix melted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually combine with wet ingredients.
  6. Grease a baking pan and pour the batter evenly into it.
  7. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and swirl slightly with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, testing doneness with a toothpick.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack and cut into squares.

Notes

Chill batter for extra fudginess and serve with fresh strawberries or ice cream.
