Description

A delightful dessert combining creamy cheesecake with sweet strawberry swirls, perfect for any celebration.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (divided)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, ¼ cup sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan and bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool.
  2. For the strawberry sauce, combine sliced strawberries and remaining ¼ cup sugar in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until the strawberries break down. Let cool.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add remaining sugar, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing until incorporated.
  4. Pour half of the cheesecake filling into the cooled crust. Drizzle half of the strawberry sauce on top and swirl gently. Repeat with remaining filling and sauce.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until edges are set and center slightly jiggles. Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for a smoother filling. Bake in a water bath for best results and consider chilling overnight for deeper flavor.
