Description

A bold and smooth iced tea blend with floral and fruity notes, this Starbucks Midnight Drink copycat delivers calm with every sip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 black tea bags (English breakfast or earl grey)
  • 1 tablespoon hibiscus syrup or steeped hibiscus tea
  • 12 teaspoons blackberry or passionfruit syrup
  • Optional: ½ tsp lavender syrup
  • Splash of lemonade or coconut milk
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Steep 2 black tea bags in 1½ cups of hot water for 5 minutes.
  2. Let the tea cool completely, then chill it in the fridge.
  3. In a separate glass, stir together 1 tablespoon hibiscus syrup or cooled hibiscus tea, and 1–2 teaspoons fruit syrup (blackberry or passionfruit).
  4. Optional: Add a splash of lemonade for a citrusy pop.
  5. Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour the syrup mix first.
  6. Slowly pour in the chilled black tea to layer it over the mix.
  7. Add a splash of coconut milk or lavender syrup, if desired.
  8. Stir lightly if you want the layers blended, or leave it as is for a dreamy ombré effect.

Notes

Customize the drink with coconut milk for a creamy touch or lemonade for a citrusy bite. Great for evenings when you want flavor without the sugar rush.
