Description

Delightful Spicy Grilled Shrimp Tacos featuring marinated grilled shrimp, fresh veggies, and zesty sauce wrapped in soft tortillas.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup red cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • Sour cream or Greek yogurt for drizzling

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cayenne, cumin, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat well and let marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Skewer the shrimp or place directly on the grill. Grill for 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Quickly warm tortillas on a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until soft.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing grilled shrimp in each tortilla and topping with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, and a drizzle of sour cream or yogurt.
  6. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top and enjoy!

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp for the perfect texture. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
