Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
- In another bowl, beat the brown sugar and eggs until fluffy, then add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
Notes
