Description

Ingredients

  • 1.5 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Cloves
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
  4. In another bowl, beat the brown sugar and eggs until fluffy, then add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
