- 1 cup Sugar (or Brown Sugar)

- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 cup Milk (or non-dairy milk)
- 1/4 cup Butter (or margarine)
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Peel and slice the ripe bananas into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and ground cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk and melted butter, then add the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold the sliced bananas into the batter.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
Choose very ripe bananas for the sweetest flavor and do not overmix the batter to keep the cobbler fluffy.
