Description

Deliciously gooey cookies that combine the fudgy richness of brownies and the chewy goodness of cookies.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add in the dry mixture, stirring just until combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto prepared sheets, leaving space between them.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges look set but centers are still soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce for a decadent treat.
