A comforting casserole combining tender green beans with creamy mushroom soup and crispy fried onions.
Ingredients

- 1.5 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup fried onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Wash and trim the green beans, then chop them into bite-sized pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper. Stir until mixed well.
- Place the green beans in the slow cooker and pour the soup mixture over them. Stir well to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, until the green beans are tender and bubbly.
- During the last 30 minutes, sprinkle the fried onions on top to crisp up.
- Once cooked, scoop it out and serve. Enjoy!
Notes
Use fresh green beans for the best texture. Don’t skip the fried onions for added crunch!
