Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a half sheet pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Mix in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract. Beat until fully combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Gently stir in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Spoon the batter onto the prepared sheet pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- Let the cookie slab cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a cutting board. Cut into squares and enjoy!
