- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 4 medium potatoes (Baby or Yukon Gold)
- 2 cups fresh green beans
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned, about 7-10 minutes.
- Add diced onions and minced garlic; cook until onions are translucent.
- Wash and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
- In a large bowl, combine the sausage mixture, sliced potatoes, green beans, cheese, and spices. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 baking dish and spread evenly.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle with extra cheese, and bake for another 10-15 minutes until bubbly and crispy.
- Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Adjust baking time if using larger potatoes, and feel free to add other veggies.
