Description

Delicious salted caramel pretzel cheesecake bars with a crunchy pretzel base, creamy cheesecake filling, and a gooey salted caramel drizzle.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups pretzels, crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed pretzels and melted butter, then press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
  3. Beat together softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Pour cheesecake mixture over the pretzel crust evenly.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set and golden on top.
  6. Let cool to room temperature, then drizzle with salted caramel and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Slice into squares and serve, topped with extra caramel and a sprinkle of sea salt.

Notes

Press the crust firmly to ensure it holds together. Let cool completely before refrigerating for the best texture.
