Description

This Salmon with Brown Sugar Glaze features tender salmon fillets brushed with a rich, sweet glaze made from brown sugar, soy sauce, and a hint of mustard.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets, fresh and skin-on
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and place them skin-side down on the baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, and lemon juice. Mix well until a paste forms.
  4. Brush the glaze generously over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the salmon is flaky but not overcooked.
  6. Let the salmon rest for a minute before serving.

Notes

For an even deeper flavor, marinate the salmon in the glaze for about 30 minutes before baking.
