Description

Delicious bite-sized salmon balls served with a creamy avocado sauce, perfect for snacking or as an appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Fresh Salmon Fillet
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Green Onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dill
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 ripe Avocado
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1-2 cloves Garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Steam or poach the salmon until it flakes easily. Let it cool, then flake into a bowl.
  2. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, dill, lemon juice, and flaked salmon.
  3. Roll the mixture into balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, add some oil, and cook the salmon balls until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Mash avocado in a bowl and mix with Greek yogurt, minced garlic, and salt.
  6. Serve the salmon balls with the creamy avocado sauce.

Notes

Don’t overcook the salmon to keep it tender. Chill the mixture before cooking for better shape. Smoky spices can also enhance flavor.
