Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 head roasted garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wrap a head of garlic in foil and roast it for about 30-40 minutes until it’s soft and golden.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter with the roasted garlic, fresh parsley, chopped chives, lemon juice, and smoked paprika.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
  4. Use a fork or hand mixer to blend all ingredients until smooth and well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper, roll it into a log shape, and twist the ends to seal. Refrigerate for a couple of hours until solid.

Notes

Use fresh herbs for the best flavor. This butter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or frozen for longer storage.
