- 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 1 cup Tomato puree
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 inch Ginger, minced
- 2 tsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 Onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prep the Chicken: Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, season with salt, and set aside.
- Sauté Aromatics: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Cook until the onions are translucent.
- Cook Chicken: Increase the heat and add the chicken pieces. Sear until they are browned on all sides.
- Add Spices: Stir in the garam masala, cumin, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in Tomato Puree: Pour in the tomato puree, and mix everything well. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Creamy Finish: Lower the heat and gradually stir in the heavy cream. Allow it to simmer gently until thickened, about 10 minutes.
- Adjust Seasoning: Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. You can always add more spices or cream to suit your preference.
- Serve Up: Serve with warm naan bread or over rice. Enjoy!
