Description

A cozy and delightful pumpkin bread that brings the flavors of fall right to your kitchen. Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pureed pumpkin
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, sugar, oil, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. If using, gently fold in the chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
  6. Grease a loaf pan and pour in the batter, smoothing the top.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, do not overmix the batter. Adjust spices to your preference.
