Description

A fun and healthy twist on traditional pizza using creamy cottage cheese as a base, perfect for a quick meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Your choice of toppings (bell peppers, turkey slices, mushrooms, pepperoni, artichokes)
  • Spices (Italian seasoning, garlic powder, crushed red pepper)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spread a generous layer of cottage cheese on a baking sheet.
  3. Spoon pizza sauce over the cottage cheese.
  4. Evenly sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Add your choice of toppings.
  6. Lightly sprinkle spices over the toppings.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

Use room-temperature cottage cheese for easier spreading. For a crunchier base, pre-bake the cottage cheese layer briefly before adding toppings.
