Description

A delightful twist on classic grilled cheese, these Pizza Grilled Cheese Sandwiches combine gooey melted cheese and savory pizza toppings for a quick and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • Sourdough bread (or whole wheat/gluten-free)
  • Mozzarella cheese (or provolone/cheddar)
  • Pizza sauce
  • Your choice of toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms)
  • Butter or olive oil


Instructions

  1. Gather your bread, cheese, sauce, and toppings.
  2. Spread a generous amount of pizza sauce on one slice of bread.
  3. Layer cheese and toppings on top of the sauce.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread and spread butter or olive oil on the outside.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the sandwich.
  6. Grill each side for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
