Description

A fun twist on the classic favorite, pizza burritos combine hearty burrito elements with delightful pizza flavors for an irresistible meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni or your choice of toppings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, and your choice of toppings.
  2. Lay out the tortillas flat on a clean surface.
  3. Spoon a generous amount of filling onto the center of each tortilla.
  4. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly from the bottom.
  5. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil or cooking spray.
  6. Place the burritos seam-side down and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Slice the pizza burritos in half and serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
