Description

A light and fluffy dessert combining the sweetness of pineapple with angel food cake, perfect for summer outings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Angel Food Cake Mix
  • 1 can Crushed Pineapple (with juice)
  • 1 container Cool Whip (or whipped cream)
  • 1 cup Mini Marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup Pecans (optional)


Instructions

  1. Bake the angel food cake according to the package instructions and let it cool.
  2. Tear the cooled cake into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the crushed pineapple (with juice) and cool whip.
  4. Gently fold in the torn pieces of angel food cake until well coated.
  5. Add mini marshmallows and pecans (if using) and mix until combined.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Scoop out, serve cool, and enjoy!

Notes

For a tropical twist, top with extra whipped cream and toasted coconut. Feel free to experiment with different fruits!
