Ingredients
- Pizza Dough: Fresh or store-bought
- Steak: Thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin
- Bell Peppers: Sliced green, red, yellow, or orange
- Onion: Sautéed until soft
- Provolone Cheese: Mozzarella or cheddar can be swapped
- Garlic Powder
- Italian Seasoning
- Marinara Sauce: For dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a hot skillet, sauté the steak over medium-high heat until browned. Season with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Remove from heat.
- In the same pan, add sliced onions and peppers, cooking until soft and slightly caramelized.
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle.
- Spread the steak, veggies, and cheese evenly over the dough.
- Starting from one long side, roll the dough carefully and pinch the edges to seal.
- Brush the top with olive oil.
- Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Once cool, slice and serve with warm marinara sauce.
Notes
Don’t overstuff the stromboli to prevent blowouts; allow the dough to rise for a fluffier texture.
