Description

Soft, cheesy bites of dough infused with rich Parmesan flavor, perfect for dipping or enjoying on their own.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or dairy-free)
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter (or olive oil)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon dried herbs (oregano or basil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.
  3. Stir in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and melted butter.
  5. Pour the wet mix into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Use your hands to scoop bite-sized pieces and shape them into balls.
  7. Place the bites on a greased baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let the bites cool for a few minutes before serving them with your favorite dip.

Notes

Avoid overmixing to keep the bites fluffy. Use fresh cheese for optimal flavor.
