Description

Delicious and fluffy cupcakes bursting with orange flavor and topped with creamy vanilla frosting, reminiscent of classic creamsicle treats.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Mix in the orange juice, orange zest, milk, and vanilla extract until combined.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the cupcake liners until about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting with cream cheese frosting.
