Description

A flavorful and creamy dish featuring tender tortellini in a spicy garlic butter sauce with juicy chicken, all cooked in one pot for easy cleanup.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced chicken and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add more butter if necessary. Toss in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Adjust spice with more red pepper flakes if desired.
  4. Stir in tortellini and cook according to package instructions, about 3-5 minutes until tender.
  5. Add chicken back to the pot along with Parmesan cheese, stirring until everything is well combined and creamy.

Notes

Garnish with extra Parmesan and fresh basil before serving. Pair with a salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
