Description

A quick and easy layered dessert featuring creamy layers and crunchy Oreos, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • 1/4 cup chocolate sauce, for drizzling


Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos in a ziplock bag or food processor.
  2. Combine crushed Oreos with melted butter and press into the base of a 9×13 inch dish.
  3. Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then fold in Cool Whip.
  4. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the Oreo crust, sprinkle with more crushed Oreos, then add the remaining filling.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  6. Drizzle chocolate sauce on top before serving.

Notes

Use room-temperature cream cheese to avoid lumps in the filling. Extra Oreos can be used for decoration.
