Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (or gluten-free alternative)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (or maple syrup for a natural sweetener)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened (or vegan cream cheese)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping (or coconut whipped cream for a dairy-free option)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (21 oz) can of pie filling (choose your favorite flavor)
  • Optional: Fresh fruit for topping (think strawberries, blueberries, or kiwi)


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated and hold together when pressed. Spread into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish, pressing firmly.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and blend until well combined. Gently fold in whipped topping and vanilla extract.
  3. Spread the cheesecake layer over the crust smoothly with a spatula.
  4. Spoon the pie filling over the cheesecake layer, spreading evenly. Optionally, add fresh fruit on top.
