Description

Delightful layered dessert with creamy filling surrounded by ladyfingers, all made without baking.


Ingredients

  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp gelatin
  • Assorted fresh fruits (berries, sliced fruits)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the ladyfingers by lining a round springform pan with parchment paper and arranging the ladyfingers upright around the edge.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then gradually add the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until fluffy.
  3. Bloom gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes, then microwave to dissolve. Stir into the cream mixture.
  4. Spread a layer of cream mixture into the center of the ladyfingers, then layer fruits if desired, and repeat until filling is used up.
  5. Cover the cake and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Before serving, gently remove the sides of the pan and enjoy the cake.
