Description

Delicious, bite-sized truffles made from cake mix, cream cheese, and chocolate, perfect for parties or sweet cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cake mix (any flavor, vanilla or funfetti recommended)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (dark, milk, or white)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, softened cream cheese, melted butter, and powdered sugar. Stir until well blended.
  2. Gently fold in the sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  4. Scoop out small portions and roll them into balls about one inch in diameter.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or over a double boiler.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, then place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle more sprinkles on top.
  8. Place the truffles in the fridge for about 30 minutes until the chocolate hardens.

Notes

Keep them chilled after making for best texture. Double the recipe for gatherings.
