A quick and comforting Mushroom and Tofu Stir-Fry featuring crispy tofu, earthy mushrooms, and vibrant bell peppers.
Ingredients

- 1 block Firm Tofu
- 8 oz Fresh Mushrooms (Shiitake or Button)
- 1-2 Bell Peppers (Red or Yellow)
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp Oil (Vegetable or Sesame)
Instructions
- Drain the tofu and wrap it in a kitchen towel to remove excess moisture. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Cut the tofu into small cubes, less than an inch.
- Clean and slice mushrooms, bell peppers, and garlic into bite-sized pieces.
- In a pan or wok, heat oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add tofu cubes and brown for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Add mushrooms, bell peppers, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until veggies are tender yet crisp.
- Pour in soy sauce and stir. Let it bubble for another minute or two.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles, optionally garnished with sesame seeds or green onions.
Notes
Press tofu for crispier texture. Customize vegetables and sauces as desired.
