Description

A quick and comforting Mushroom and Tofu Stir-Fry featuring crispy tofu, earthy mushrooms, and vibrant bell peppers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 block Firm Tofu
  • 8 oz Fresh Mushrooms (Shiitake or Button)
  • 1-2 Bell Peppers (Red or Yellow)
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp Oil (Vegetable or Sesame)

Instructions

  1. Drain the tofu and wrap it in a kitchen towel to remove excess moisture. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Cut the tofu into small cubes, less than an inch.
  3. Clean and slice mushrooms, bell peppers, and garlic into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In a pan or wok, heat oil over medium-high heat until hot.
  5. Add tofu cubes and brown for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally.
  6. Add mushrooms, bell peppers, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until veggies are tender yet crisp.
  7. Pour in soy sauce and stir. Let it bubble for another minute or two.
  8. Serve hot over rice or noodles, optionally garnished with sesame seeds or green onions.

Notes

Press tofu for crispier texture. Customize vegetables and sauces as desired.
