Description
Delicious caramel apple pie bombs are sweet dough pockets filled with warm spiced apples and gooey caramel, perfect for dessert any time.

- 1 package pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 cups chopped apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook until apples are soft, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in half the caramel sauce and set aside to cool.
- Roll out pie crust on a floured surface and cut into 4-5 inch circles.
- Spoon apple mixture into the center of each dough circle, then drizzle remaining caramel sauce on top.
- Fold dough over filling and pinch edges to seal. Brush tops with beaten egg.
- Place on parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Serve warm drizzled with additional caramel sauce.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat. Can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated.
