Description

A delightful Asian-inspired dish featuring tender beef, chewy noodles, and fresh vegetables, all coated in a rich savory sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Beef Sirloin (or flank steak, or chicken)
  • 8 oz Egg Noodles (or rice noodles)
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar (or honey)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger (grated)
  • 4 Green Onions (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 cups Mixed Vegetables (bell peppers, snap peas, broccoli)

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef against the grain into thin strips.
  2. Marinate the beef in a bowl with soy sauce and brown sugar for 15-30 minutes.
  3. Boil the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain them.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and cook the marinated beef until browned and tender. Set aside.
  5. In the same pan, sauté mixed vegetables with ginger and garlic until tender.
  6. Add the cooked noodles and beef back to the pan, adding remaining marinade and mixing well.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free noodles and tamari instead of soy sauce.
