Description

Mississippi Mud Pie is a rich, chocolatey dessert with a crispy crust and fluffy whipped cream topping, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups crushed chocolate cookies (like Oreos)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed cookies, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a pie dish.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes and let it cool slightly.
  4. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in intervals of 30 seconds, stirring until smooth.
  5. In another bowl, mix melted chocolate with eggs and sugar until combined. Fold in mini marshmallows.
  6. Pour the filling into the cooled crust and bake for 25-30 minutes until just set.
  7. Let the pie cool completely.
  8. Whip the cream until soft peaks form and spread over the cooled pie.
  9. Refrigerate for a few hours before serving.

Notes

For serving, garnish with chocolate sauce or fresh berries if desired. Can be made a day in advance.
