Description

A crispy and cheesy chicken dish that combines tender chicken breasts with a golden crust, inspired by LongHorn Steakhouse.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  3. Dip each chicken breast in the whisked eggs, then coat them generously in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For even cooking, flatten thicker chicken breasts before cooking. Add mozzarella for extra gooeyness if desired.
