Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the orange juice and zest.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, then gradually whisk into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
