Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon premium matcha powder
  • 1 tablespoon umeboshi plum paste
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 small strip (about 2 inches) dried kombu
  • 1 cup hot water (175°F/80°C)
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)


Instructions

  1. Place the kombu strip in hot water and let it steep for 3 minutes. Remove and discard the kombu.
  2. Add matcha powder to the kombu-infused water and whisk until smooth.
  3. Stir in umeboshi paste and grated ginger until fully blended.
  4. Add raw honey if desired and stir again.
  5. Serve warm and sip slowly to enjoy the benefits.

Notes

You can substitute whole umeboshi plums if paste is unavailable, or add a squeeze of lemon or a dash of apple cider vinegar for variation.
