Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup applesauce
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix together applesauce, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack, then slice and enjoy!
