- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar

- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 Egg (for egg wash)
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar (for glaze)
- 1-2 tbsp Milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Prepare the Apples: Peel and chop apples into small pieces; toss them with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice in a bowl, and let sit.
- Make the Pie Crust: Roll out pie crust on a floured surface, making it thinner if store-bought.
- Fill the Pies: Cut dough into circles (about 4-5 inches across) and add a spoonful of the apple mixture to the center.
- Seal the Pies: Fold the crust over the filling, crimp the edges with a fork to seal.
- Prepare for Baking: Place hand pies on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush tops with beaten egg.
- Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Make the Glaze: Mix powdered sugar with milk and vanilla for the glaze.
- Drizzle and Serve: Drizzle glaze on warm hand pies and enjoy!
