Description
This Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso is a creamy, cinnamon-spiced Starbucks copycat you can make at home in minutes with just 3 ingredients.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons horchata syrup (homemade or store-bought)
2 ounces espresso or 5 ounces strong cold brew concentrate
3/4 cup full-fat oatmilk (barista-style recommended)
Ice cubes for shaking and serving
Optional: cinnamon stick or cinnamon sugar for garnish
Instructions
1. Add horchata syrup and freshly brewed espresso to a cocktail shaker or mason jar.
2. Fill the shaker with ice, then secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 30–45 seconds until frothy and well chilled.
3. Fill a tall glass with fresh ice.
4. Strain the shaken espresso mixture into the glass.
5. Top with cold oatmilk and stir gently.
6. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or dusting of cinnamon sugar if desired.
Notes
Use barista-style oatmilk for the creamiest texture.
To make it sugar-free, use a monk fruit or stevia-based cinnamon syrup.
Cold brew concentrate is a great substitute if you don’t have an espresso machine.
This drink is also delicious with a scoop of vanilla or cinnamon protein powder added before shaking.
