Description

A sweet and spicy salmon dish that combines rich flavors for a delightful dinner experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon chili flakes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and chili flakes. Whisk until combined.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a dish and pour the marinade over them. Let soak for at least 30 minutes, ideally for 1 hour.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Remove salmon from marinade (reserve marinade) and place it on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  5. While the salmon is baking, boil the reserved marinade for a few minutes to create a glaze.
  6. Once the salmon is ready, drizzle it with the glaze and serve with veggies or rice.

Notes

Letting the salmon marinate longer enhances the flavor. Keep an eye on cooking time to avoid dry salmon.
