Description

Delightful cookies that combine the flavors of hot chocolate with soft, rich cookies, perfect for the holiday season.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2/3 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Butter, softened
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add in the dry ingredients, mixing until just incorporated.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.
  7. Scoop the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes. The cookies will be soft but firm up as they cool.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For an extra treat, serve warm with a drizzle of chocolate sauce. You can also chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking for enhanced flavor.
