- 1/2 cup creamy nut butter (almond, peanut, or sunflower seed butter)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine oats and nut butter, blending them well.
- Pour in maple syrup and vanilla extract. Mix until everything looks like a sticky dough.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Transfer the mixture to an 8×8-inch lined baking pan and press down firmly.
- Freeze for about 30 minutes until set.
- Remove from pan, cut into squares, and enjoy straight from the freezer.
Notes
Make sure to use room temperature nut butter for easier mixing and pack the mixture tightly in the pan for optimum texture.
