Description

Delightfully crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these Healthy Air Fryer Churro Bites are a guilt-free treat that satisfy your sweet cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour blend)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter (or coconut oil)
  • 1/2 cup milk (or almond milk)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (or sugar alternative)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk until evenly distributed.
  2. Melt the butter and mix it with the dry ingredients and milk. Stir until a non-sticky dough forms.
  3. Roll small pieces of dough into consistent bite-sized balls.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the bites in the basket without touching.
  5. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
  6. Mix cinnamon and brown sugar in a bowl. Coat the slightly cooled churro bites in the mixture.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature butter and milk, and don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket for proper air circulation.
