- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour blend)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter (or coconut oil)
- 1/2 cup milk (or almond milk)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp brown sugar (or sugar alternative)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk until evenly distributed.
- Melt the butter and mix it with the dry ingredients and milk. Stir until a non-sticky dough forms.
- Roll small pieces of dough into consistent bite-sized balls.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the bites in the basket without touching.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
- Mix cinnamon and brown sugar in a bowl. Coat the slightly cooled churro bites in the mixture.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature butter and milk, and don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket for proper air circulation.
