Scale
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
- Sea salt, to taste
- Black pepper, freshly cracked, to taste
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
- Cooked rice, to serve
Instructions
- If using frozen shrimp, make sure they are fully thawed and patted dry.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Toss in the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
- Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Gently toss to mix.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve over cooked rice. Enjoy immediately!
Notes
Don’t overcook the shrimp; they cook quickly and can become rubbery. Use fresh ingredients for better flavor.
