Description

A delightful dish inspired by Hawaiian food truck cuisine, featuring large juicy shrimp in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a cozy dinner or tropical-themed party.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, freshly cracked, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish
  • Cooked rice, to serve

Instructions

  1. If using frozen shrimp, make sure they are fully thawed and patted dry.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Toss in the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  5. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Gently toss to mix.
  6. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve over cooked rice. Enjoy immediately!

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp; they cook quickly and can become rubbery. Use fresh ingredients for better flavor.
