Description

A cozy classic casserole combining ground beef, green beans, and creamy soup, topped with melted cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen green beans
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup tater tots (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Mix well.
  5. Spread everything into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, swap the beef for lentils or plant-based meat. Feel free to add extra veggies.
