Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the bell peppers and cook until they start to soften, roughly 5-7 minutes.
- Push the veggies to one side of the skillet and add the ground turkey. Brown it for 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart until fully cooked through.
- Sprinkle in the cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper, mixing everything together and letting it cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve it immediately or allow it to cool for storage.
Notes
For visual appeal, use different colored bell peppers. Adjust spices to cater to your heat preference.
